This is a mystery to me as well. Maybe capel is playing nick because he thinks nick can shoot from three? It seems that is capel's system, shoot as many threes as possible.

CJ > Nick- does anyone else notice the way when people drive in the lane nick literally moves out of the way & then when there is a loose ball he kind of just looks at it? & when he gets the rebound sometimes he thinks hes a PG & dribbles... i honestly cant stand to watch him play. he makes me so angry!!!!

I don't know if Capel has enough of a system at any level to really understand what he was trying to do in substitutions. It could tarot cards that tell him who to play for all we know.

Perhaps CJ doesn't practice hard. If that is the case he needs to sit on the bench until he practices hard or quits, I don't care which path CJ chooses. I will absolutely support any coach (even one as bad as Capel) that does not play a kid that wont work in practice.

I don't know this is the case but it seems to me a lot of people are assuming the kid deserves pt based on practices they don't see.
