Chery hit the game winning three but it was after the clock expired
The wheels have really fallen off for Baylor. I'm a bit worried about playing them when they'll be so desperate. They need to find wins and they need to find them now or they'll miss post-season play altogether. For our sake, I'm hoping they've already given up on the season since they might be desperate.
Don't sweat it MN.....they are done at 1-7 in conference. And they still have to play @osu, @OU, @ksu, @UT, and KU at home. I don't see them winning 3 out of the aforementioned 5 games.....and then running the table in the rest of their games. By doing that, it would only get them to 9-9 in the conference. It's more likely that Baylor ends up in the 4-14 range.....unbelievable.
Drew is such a great coach.:woot
That game probably turns out to be an NIT preview.
There are a lot of really good coaches in this league. And then the are Travis Ford and Scott Drew.
Although in fairness to Drew, at least he's won some tournament games. Think Ford is the very clear-cut last place coach in the league.
In fact, Ford is the only coach not to have made a sweet 16. Hoiberg and Johnson haven't made an elite 8. Drew hasn't made a final four.
The remaining 6 have all made a final four at least once. That is insane.
Don't know how good or bad he is, but the has no talent for sure. Baylor has probably as much talent as anyone not wearing Blue and Red with Kansas on the front of their jerseys but they are not even looking like anywhere near a tournament team right now. If TCU wins much more than 15 games that's a decent year for them.trent johnson is the worst coach in the league .... he left stanford before he would have gotten fired ... then he left lsu before he was going to get fired ...
now he is at tcu ... maybe he will leave tcu and go to la tech (or somewhere else worse) before he gets fired ... lsu and stanford fans were both happy he left
When people talk about coaching, they sometimes mean just Xs and Os. While I agree that Drew doesn't maximize his talent, he got to the elite 8 at Baylor. Baylor!.
