The Big 12 and Pac-10 Conferences have announced the dates and matchups for the 2010 Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series in men's basketball. Oklahoma will play at Arizona on Sunday, Dec. 5.

The Sooners are 5-1 all-time against an Arizona program that has competed in 25 of the last 26 NCAA Tournaments. Last year, OU beat the Wildcats 79-62 in Norman.

The majority of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series' games are scheduled for December 2-5, with three taking place outside the four-day series window. The matchups mirror the ones that took place in the fall of 2009, with the road team from a year ago hosting this season.

The Big 12 held a 9-3 advantage in Hardwood Series contests last season and leads the three-year series, 20-16. In 2009, the 12 contests drew more than 110,000 fans. In the three years of the event, more than 355,000 fans have come through the turnstiles.

The Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series will be in its fourth year after starting competition during the 2007-08 season. Additional components of the 2010 series, including the start times and television broadcast information, will be announced at a later date.

I still say this series stinks. :)

Although at least OSU finally got a freaking home game...

Wonder how the series will turn out this year. Last year the Big 12 owned it.

Great we can expect Jessie back, I guess I need to put him on the ignore list. Unless we get a Jessie to English dictionary.

OSU got washington at home the first year of the series.

I know... but playing on the road two years in a row sucked.

Too bad... I was really enjoying watching us play a Pac 10 game that starts at 10:30 p.m. Central on freaking Fox Sports Net.

Don't understand why you're *****ing about a 1-point victory over a "very, very great, great" (Ford's words) Stanford squad at 2AM. On the road.

That game in Seattle two years ago was the birth of KeTawn, as well.

This series sucks, BTW. Still trying to figure out why we joined up with the Pac 10 on this one. If the media doesn't give a **** about anybody west of the river, why do the only two major conferences west of the river decide to play each other?
