What a great win. Everyone contributed. Even Victor, who didn't score, had many small contributions -- tipped balls that resulted in OU rebounds and the like.

Four guys in double figures. Hill calmly swishing four straight free throws. Brady finding ways to score. Harmon with a terrific game. Harkless gutting it out through foul trouble. Gibson going 3-4 from deep.

Nine team steals. OU with 13 offensive rebounds to Bama's 5. Winning the overall rebound battle by 7.

Why on earth would I be mad? First, winning is the most important thing. Second, even if I was petty enough to care more about being right than the team winning, how can anyone think our offense was better without him today? More turnovers than usual and we didn’t have anyone that we could rely on to make free throws down the stretch.

And I’ll also happily say that Manek really nutted up in the second half. That is the best I’ve ever seen him bounce back from a bad first half. I was dead wrong in thinking Lon should bench him after the first half and I’m perfectly willing to admit that.

This team really has earned it. Have a feeling we won't sniff the top 10 in the polls, though. I wouldn't be that surprised to see all three teams we just beat rated ahead of us, though I wouldn't agree with that at all.

Manek was PISSED when he got benched one time. Slapped his coach's hands, threw his towel after he sat on his chair. But i like a little fire in em. He just wants to win. But its a fine line with pouting. He did a great job getting some tough boards today. He needs to not press, hell get going again
