#9 Alabama Sat. 11am CST ESPN

I agree, I don’t mind when he gets fired up but he needs to channel it in a good way and it is definitely a fine line.

This team has been so fun to watch this month. Playing a second game against a really good team without two starters in just over 48 hours may catch up with us Monday, but even if it does, it shouldn’t take away anything from what they have done. Love the defense and overall effort and how about the rebounding?!?

Blew me away.. if we do that every game, we can just about win any game, any night

Before the game, Jay Bilas picked Bama, saying, after the other two prognosticators cited our missing players, "I don't care who's playing for Oklahoma; Alabama has Herb Jones."

If anyone hears Bilas, whom I really can't stand, eating crow (or refusing to do so), please report it here.

I wouldn’t hold my breath if I was you. I like Bilas, but I doubt if he’ll admit he was wrong. All ESPN cronies seem to be contractually obligated to kiss up to SEC schools on air. Some do it with the ACC and Big Ten too. Makes me sick to my stomach!

Yes, it was ridiculous – in spades!

No, it wasn’t. Reaves is a black hole and shot freak at times. The three other guards played beautifully of each other today. I don’t have anything against Reaves, but we’re just fine without him.

This is a hot take! Dear lord.

You're right about just one thing: we're still a good team without Reaves. Of course, we're a much better team with him on the floor and would have likely beaten Bama by double digits if he had played.

Yes, I thought our guards played well today and we are a good team, but "we're just fine without him (Reeves)".....come on man.

It was a good win against a quality opponent with out couple of players. OU guard play is pretty stout, which should do them well come March

We finished with fewer assists than turnovers, shot our lowest percentage in the last several games, and were totally out of synch offensively for a long stretch of the first. We won because we have a really good team and we rebounded and played great defense. I love all three guards you are talking about, but they had some turnovers today that would have caused this board to crash if they had been committed by AR. If you can’t admit that we are a better team with our leading scorer and assist man, who also is our leading rebounder and best free throw shooter, you clearly do have something against him.

In one game, not so much, as others will just get more playing minutes, but the problem would arise if it were for a series of games because stamina would then become an issue.

I'm glad i was so wrong on this team. They have been refreshing to watch
