M'Baye looked good. As evidenced by the stats Skyvue posted, an accurate breakdown by my count as well, he took full advantage of the shots he had.
He started at the three and played there most of the game. His assignment on defense was Doug McDermott, the national college POY last season. Amath's size, length and quick feet, gave McDermott fits. The only points I saw him score with M'Baye guarding him was from the free throw line, when he got a step on Amath by rubbing him off of a pick.
If M'Baye continues to shoot the ball well and defend at the level he did in this game, he may have a chance to make the Clipper's roster. His ability to run the floor would also make him a good fit. IMO, he was easily the best big on the Clippers team today.
