not much of an interview less than 10 minutes....Tyler Neal's haircut, buying a house in Norman, the NBA finals, getting Lloyd Noble filled starting with the students, and the state of Oklahoma produces good quality high school players that they will try to keep at home...not much of an interview

I heard it as well. Mark Rogers was doing it. Sounded like Mark was completely unprepared to ask any questions that anybody cared about. I'm sure Kruger hung up thinking what was the purpose of that interview. However Kruger did come across at totally up beat. Nothing but positive talk from him. About moving, buying a house, his golf game, who he rooted for in NBA finals ect. hahahaha

Until he can get in there and watch the players actually practice there's not really much he can say about the players. There was one question about the current players but really any of those questions won't be answered well till the fall.

That's basically all I remember him saying about the team. But as I said interviews about the team won't matter till the fall.

Quite honestly and I know it's fun to bash Sports Animal guys, but it was really Coach Kruger that didn't want to give much for answers. My guess is he only had a limited amount of time, but it's more a part of making sure he is constantly on the radio and visible to the Sooner fans. Mark would ask a question and get a short canned answer from Lon. Lon actually answered 2 separate questions with the exact same answer about getting some of the assistant coaches families moved into Norman.

I am really excited about the hire, and think Coach Kruger has been great. However, the cause of the short nondescript interview today was the Coach. I think Mark just realized the interview wasn't going to break any new ground, and they both moved on today.

I never have bashed the animal or mark. I didn't see it that away. Weak interview! Haha.
He also said they guys work hard and had a great attitude. They worked with them a couple hours a day. Until school ended. Off limits now.
