Looking at the schedule this is my prediction for the remainder of the year through the NCAAs.

We are now 15-8 and 9-3.

Remaining schedule and my prediction on outcome:

TCU - Home - Win
ISU - Away - Loss (really a toss-up, but we never play well @ ISU)
KSU - Away - Win (barely)
Baylor - Home - Loss (hope we can hold it to 10 or less)
Kansas - Home - Win
OSU -- Away - Loss (We have to play 7-0 better to win)

End of conference record: 18-11/12-6

BIG 12 Tourney: win 1st two games (if we don't play Baylor in 2nd game)
Lose to Baylor in championship.

NCAA's -- we squeak in with an 18-11 record and win 2 games before we get hammered unmerficully by UConn, S. Carolina, or someone.

What say you?

I agree with 18-11 and 12-6. We should be a 2 seed in the conference tourney and not have to play Baylor until the finals. I hope we can get the first and second round games in Norman. Win those and maybe go to OKC for the regional.

I believe that OU should be 13-5 or even 14-4 or at best 15-3 in conference with a chance of going 2-1 or even (not likely) 3-0 in the tourney. I've already explained how OU could be a 3- or even a 2-seed by Selection Sunday, and if that happened OU wouldn't play a juggernaut team before a regional final.

Which could even be played in OKC. With a seed of 4 or better, the committee would have powerful arguments for placing the Sooners in a regional close to home.

As far as seeding, believe the best we can hope for is a four. Do think we can finish 14-4 in conference plan have a good chance making the conference tourament final and unlikely to beat Baylor there. Would love to be wrong and we be seeded higher and beat Baylor at home and in tournament.

We are playing at a very high level defensively, I think. I say we go 14-4 in conference and 2-1 in tournament for a 22-10 record going into the NCAA's. I don't see us getting better than a 4 seed, I hope for better, we won't be a 1 or 2. I would be happy with a sweet 16 appearance and let the cards play out.

I would think a sweet 16 appearance would be a great result for this team and would just propel us in confidence and maturity for next season, like icing on a really good cake.

I think it would a major factor in our closing of the deal with a lot of recruits, particularly Cox and Mulkey. I mean, those girls, and others, could say to themselves "I can put this team in the Final Four my first year there and every year during my career." That has to be on their mind if we get down to the 16.

If we mature a bit and get Gioya going again, I think we can make the Elite Eight, not so much that we are great. It's just that I've seen the reality of what others have.

I don't believe we squeak in with a 12-6 conference record and more than likely 2nd in the conference. I believe they will lose to Baylor and possibly either OSU or Iowa State on the road not both. My prediction is 13-5 in Big 12 play and a championship game against Baylor in the tournament with a #4 seed in the NCAAs.
