GAME 30 - OKLAHOMA (17-12) vs #15 MISSOURI (21-8) 7:00pm CST on SECNETWORK+

Very satisifying win tonight. I'm proud of the guys.

Toby says Sam Godwin has made 19 straight shots. I thought he had a tip-in attempt that missed tonight, but I guess it wasn't ruled an attempt.

Sooners have shot 53% or higher (57% tonight) for four straight games.

Also, this is the best free-throw shooting team in OU history, and Toby suggested it's by a wide enough margin that they're basically assured of finishing as the all-time best.
Unfortunately, those are probably his last 19 shots. Sucks for him and sucks for us.

Yet, the committee probably has decided his fate. If we weren’t the first team out two of his first three years, he wouldn’t be on the hot seat.
One way to look at it but not the way I see it. The committee is just contemplating the cards they receive from us. The fact that we make it this close for a 68 team bid is on us. Their final decision won’t be a factor in what I think. It might, how, give Joe the excuse he needs either way.

He’s had some horrible luck. Some of it is self inflicted. But not all of it is.
I agree with that. He’ll be successful at his next gig. Just something about him and OU hasn’t worked out the way we all wanted it to. And I’m sure he wanted it more than anyone. But a fresh start for both parties is best

I’m not 100% in disagreement for sure, but I wouldn’t hate seeing this year be a turning point for him at OU.

Oh me too. He seems like the most likable guy you could meet. Great representative for the university. But he’s gotta atleast get the team to the tourney before turning point can even be said

Needed that one in a bad way. Somehow there is still a chance. Hate it for SG but if Wague plays like that the rest of the season it will definitely help. Going to have to stop making silly fouls now because we have zero depth. Good win though.
You can't fix wague's fouling at this point. We are going to be screwed. More Northweather mins now..

He’s played in the second hardest basketball league in the world at barely 18. Wow.
3rd hardest in the country, probably 15th hardest in the world. But yes, the SEC is by far the best conference in the country.
