I think we were well coached today. Where has this guard penetration been the last 5 years? And we also did a good job on defense adjusting throughout the game. Sometimes CU would solve whatever defense we ran, then we adjusted and ran some great defense today. Even some of the makes were well defended.

We never trailed after taking the 26-22 lead if I'm not mistaken. We were tied a few times but never trailed.

Excited about the win! Great effort...the defensive plan was to guard the 3-point line, so you knew they'd get their share of easy baskets down low. Regardless, they couldn't make them from the outside, and I'd like to think some of it had to do with the defensive game plan.

I predicted 2-14 in conference play. I feel we need 3 or 4 more wins before it's "chow down on crow" time, but I'm really hoping I have to order me up some.

Pretty simple really. Young guys are gaining experience/confidence. Blair is becoming a leader/floor general, Cam is believing that he can score on anyone, Fitz/Pledge getting better( more understanding of the game), Cade is being cade... Loved It today!!!!:clap:clap

The absence of a certain individual has also made our defense 1000 % better. Not trying to be mean, but if this lineup played Texas A and M a couple weeks ago, that game would have been at least 5-10 points closer.

I said on the game thread that this was our best performance of the season. I would have stuck to that if we had lost. The win just makes it that much sweeter. I am so proud of these kids! They played their hearts out from start to finish, and it paid dividends with a great win over a good CU team.
