Screw the regular season.... cut down the nets at the Big 12 Tournament and all is well.
We have the same discussion every year, but the bottom line is championships are decided by tournaments in basketball.
National Championship = tournament
NIT = tournament
CBI = tournament
Maui Championship = tournament
Great Alaska Shootout = tournament
Preseason NIT = tournament
NBA Champion = tournament
Olympic basketball = tournament
Quidditch world cup = tournament
Nobody gives a damn about the regular season, and in no other way is a "championship" decided by having a good regular season.
OU will still win the Big 12 Tournament and be the true Big 12 champion.
