We should probably wait until there is some evidence of this besides one doctor's opinion.

“The strength the virus had two months ago is not the same strength it has today,” said Matteo Bassetti, head of the infectious diseases clinic at the San Martino hospital in the city of Genoa.

By my count that makes two doctors, one of them the head of infectious diseases at his hospital, and the other a senior physician who is head of a hospital in Milan, a region hit hard by the Covid outbreak.

So, who you gonna believe two of Italy’s top doctors or a politician who has never treated a patient or looked at Covid-19 bacteria under a microscope? I’ll go with the physicians on this one!

Never mind that you ignored your own mistake in saying ONE doctor said the Covid virus is weakening when it was obviously TWO. Despite your feeble attempt to discredit their claim, the article made it clear they were top physicians in their field or in their hospital. Good try, “Mr. Expert!”

Normally you would scoff at the idea of taking the word of a politician over a medical professional. That is, unless the politician is Donald Trump and the medical professional is a microbiologist or a scientist. Funny how you have downplayed what most doctors have had to say the past few months, especially if it doesn’t fit your narrative.

Let’s assume that approach is getting old. My suggestion is that the next time someone posts something positive, u either agree or simply not post a rebuttal. Please give that approach a try.

My last post was more of a suggestion or request than anything else. Many of us look forward to some encouraging news about a vaccine, a leveling off; anything. My friend WaymanFan is right, the COVID-19 pandemic has people on edge like nothing I can remember in my lifetime. It doesn’t help that forty million people lost their job when the economy tanked. Anyone who doesn’t believe the stress level is high only needs to log into the nightly news for an answer to that question. One thing is certain, OUHoops has always been an escape from that kind of stress. I want it to stay that way!

And, by the way, my dissatisfaction with this thread didn’t begin when it was moved to the off-topic forum. Most of the violations I referred to occurred on the main board. Having said that, it’s time to put all of that behind us and move on to better days ahead.

BC, have I ever banned anyone who didn’t deserve it a hundred of times over? I hung in there with dozens of fans from other schools over the years when some of the OU faithful wanted them gone.

If I wanted to ban Steve he would be gone by now. You should know that by now.
