Not all societies are one in the same as cultural traditions guide their respective behaviors. We are one of the freest societies, if not the freest, yet some expect us to be just like others. We are truly an industrialized society and an industrialized society requires more human interaction than an agrarian society yet there are people who refuse to make this observation. It is easy for agrarian societies to keep a safe distance from others and this is why the "heartland of America" has had an easier time dealing with the virus.

Would you call South Korea "agrarian?"

If what you are saying is true why is Arizona experiencing a huge spike in cases?

By the way, we have the highest rate of incarceration in the industrialized world, and it's not close, so I'm not sure how we could possibly be seen as "one of the freest societies."

The chart(s) are interesting to say the least. And the videos and stories of the statues is silly. When "Jeopardy" reboots it would not surprise me if they have a category entitled "statues still standing." The way things are going it's just a matter of time till someone bombs the Statue of Liberty. Poor lady. She just wants to patina in peace.

Some hospitals in the NE are testing literally every patient that comes in, regardless of chief complaint. We're testing so much more than any other country, and it's obnoxious that some people still blame Trump for "not having enough tests."

Your incarceration numbers are evidence of The United States being one the most free nations in the world. This country has more oppurtunity through personal choice. Some just make extraordinarily stupid choices resulting in prison time.
