March Madness and Covid-19

With probably some of the strictest rules around. Face masks required. Rides being cleaned after every use. Capacity cut by at least 50%.

You almost wonder if they will make money like this.

Of course, I went to Universal in Orlando a few years ago, and immediately started trying to figure out how much they make on people just parking their cars.

$20 - $40 to park your car. 15,000 people per day at the park... If you assume half that amount parks their cars at universal every day they make $225,000 a day just on parked cars.

It's highly irresponsible to open an amusement park in the middle of a pandemic hotspot. People fly in from all over the country. The use of masks reduces the risk but doesn't cut it entirely.

Again, who is they?

The superintendent of schools in Dallas county says that high school football in the state of Texas in 2020 is highly unlikely. Not surprising, to me at least.

Um, the owners of Disneyworld? The Disney corporation?

How is this possible. Isn't Disney an intrinsically liberal run organization. There has to be another explanation which brings plausibility to the issue or is it an example of people being people. Sounds about right to me. I guess governors and the federal government has to wait in line to be blamed on this one. Oh well, such is life. You'll have to make due in the meantime.

Wow, Alabama reported 1,300 new cases today. The entire South and Southwest are getting hammered.

Yes the government should take the lead on this and shut down all amusement parks, duh. I don't know where you got the idea that Disney was a "liberal run organization" by the way. Did you have a dream about that or something?

Disney is not a liberal run organization, whatever that even means. They are just a massive organization that owns everything.

They own Disney, ABC, ESPN, Touchstone Pictures, Marvel, LucasFilm, A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, Pixar, Core Publishing, FX, Fox, Hulu, and tons of other things.

For that reason, I hate it. In my mind it shouldn't be legal, but, here we are.

They push a liberal agenda. Most entertainment operations are liberal such as ABC, ESPN, Marvel, Lucas Film, Pixar and Touchstone. Just try to find articles which expresses them as conservative leaning.

This is just idiotic.
