Do you say the same about cuomo?
I'm pretty sure he mandated masks once the science was clear that masks were the best defense against this virus.

Sure...after he sent infected people to nursing homes.
But yeah, he sure got that mask thing right
That was in the very early days of this, everyone was flying blind then. I actually think DeBlasio is a complete idiot. Cuomo did a very good job.
dude seriously?
Using the newness of the virus as an excuse to putting infected people into the nursing homes?
That is dumber and more deadly than anything trump has done
Oh bull****, Trump owns this whole mess. Trump has sat around and dithered and let the states fend for themselves. He only cares about the coming election and he's even screwing that up.
What amazes me is that if Trump had taken this seriously from the beginning and handled it well he would be a shoe-in for re-election but he doesn't even have a child's level of understanding of what to do.
lol
Trump is the reason for Cuomo putting people in nursing homes.
I think we are done here.
It is quite obvious you can't have an unbiased discussion on this
I know i've asked this a lot, can you name what Biden or Obama would have done differently to stop the spread?
Or will you just continue spouting off that he should have done something different without any suggestions?
And please don't say mandatory masks from the beginning. Nobody was asking for that...even your hero Fauci. He was saying the opposite.
The only thing that could have been handled better was Trump vocalling and physically supporting mask wearing once it was evident that it was what is needed.
I have repeatedly detailed what should have been done throughout this discussion.
1. Full court press on testing and tracing. Trump dithered for weeks on testing until the virus was already rampant and out of control. In fact, the World Health Organization offered us their tests in the beginning of this crisis and Trump turned them down, wasting crucial time in the beginning when we had a chance to get a handle on the virus.
2. Isolate and screen every visitor at the airport for the virus. Mandatory quarantines and testing for all people entering from other countries.
3. Shutdowns in the beginning in identified hotspots (we would have been much more prepared for this with early ramped up testing and tracing.)
4. A full federal response and task force, from the beginning. No idiotic 50 state "strategy."
5. Invoke the defense production act for PPE and test manufacturing from the beginning.
I could go on, but you get the picture.
I'd love to see your source for #1.
Also, I can't imagine the lids on liberals that would have blown if he implemented this list.
In hindsight you guys want it...but at the time, when in March, Fauci was still saying we shouldn't be too worried, yall would have lost it
I started this thread back in March and I was calling for all these things way back then. You can go check.
Why weren't you calling for them in January for February?
I didn't say he was the reason, but he's the leader of the entire country and he has handled this much worse than any other leader and much worse than Andrew Cuomo. You seem to think the buck stops anywhere but on Trump's desk.
1. Trump has NOT handled it worse than cuomo. Nobody has handled it worse than cuomo, whose direct actions caused the deaths of 30,000 people.
2. I agree with you on wearing masks. I always have.
3. You blame trump for everything and easily dismiss any democrat who is obviously wrong or makes mistakes.
