theres a lot of animosity on this board. Anytime somebody has a unpopular opinion or is critical of a team that has lost 9 out of 11 people attempt to make them look stupid.

Even valid criticism is attacked.

Trae Young is simply not the dominant player he appeared to be. He’s obviously our best player, but our team stinks. I think nba scouts are paying attention and if they aren’t then I’m not sure what they are getting paid to do. If my career depended on a volume shooter who turns the balls over at his clip and has never been a winner i wouldn’t take the risk.

He'll go top 8 no doubt. Hes pressing on a clueless untalented team.. No big deal imo other than %s are down.

it's not a matter of it being personal. I love OU basketball. I have been a board dude and been on OU bball boards since the first one in existence. I take it personally when this team is so bad and people are talking crap about them - especially when I dont even think the critic is an OU fan or has ever said a positive thing.

But if they want to leave their starters in and run oops with two minutes left, someone in crimson needs to commit a hard foul and let them know that isn't going to keep happening. The lack of hustle and energy was seen in the game tonight. This team does not show no emotion and hasn't played a complete, cohesive game in a long time. The mental toll has gotten to Trae and even in my opinion I believe he needs to come back another year and work on that and his game a little more before he goes pro but he might go anyway. We just have no defense at all. Overall this team just has lacked a lot of confidence in what they do.

They left their starters in until we sat TY, right? I hate their guts, but that's perfectly fair IMO.

This is beginning to remind me of Billy's last season here. That team had effort issues and refused to defend, but they had one star freshman....Ryan Minor. Kelvin came in the next season and turned the team around with a totally different approach and that 94-5 team developed some serious resolve/toughness.

I agree. That's why I said ku can do what they want. My comment wasn't about KU doing anything wrong, it was about our team having so little pride that we let ourselves look like the Washington Generals.
