I'm doing this from memory, so please correct me if I missed anything. Since they started seeding teams, OU has now been every conceivable seed except #12. We're unbeaten in seven of our seeds, but there are two which have produced nightmarish results.

#1 - 5-0
#2 - 3-0 (had a bye in 1st round, 1984)
#3 - 3-0
#4 - 1-3
#5 - 1-1 (beat #4 Texas in 1979 when there were 32 teams)
#6 - 2-1
#7 - 1-0
#8 - 1-0
#9 - 1-0
#10 - 0-4
#11 - 0-1
#13 - 1-0

Is it possible for us to ever be the 14 or 15? Also the 16?

Probably not. Rare to see any Power-5 team rated so low. The year the Georgia Dome was hit by the tornado (2008), Georgia went on a run and won the Tourney with a record of 17-15. They were given a 14. That's the lowest I can recall. It would take a dumpster fire, like our 2017 team, getting hot out of nowhere and winning the conference tourney.

Even our 13 was a bit of a fluke. Kelvin had to lie, cheat, beg, borrow and steal (old Gary Hart reference WCCW) every favor he ever had to get us the absolute LAST at-large bid. We certainly made the most of it, Eduardo's neurological faculties not withstanding.

If I recall, Baylor almost pulled off what would have been a 14 or 15 seeded team around the time Georgia did it.

I'm assuming this is for the first game only? (ya stupid assumption) I'd like to see total record.

At the moment, we're 43-32 all time (same exact record as Arkansas), and we were 4-3 from 1939-1947 when there were no seedings. Since then, we're 19-10 in the 1st round as already indicated. After that, we're just slightly above .500.

2nd Round:
Tubbs 4-4
Sampson 3-2
Capel 1-1
Kruger (pending Gonzaga) 2-1
Total: 10-8

Sweet 16:
Bliss 0-1
Tubbs 2-2
Sampson 2-1
Capel 1-0
Kruger 1-1
Total: 6-5

Elite Eight:
Tubbs 1-1
Sampson 1-1
Capel 0-1
Kruger 1-0
Total: 3-3

Final Four:
Tubbs 1-0
Sampson 0-1
Kruger 0-1
Total: 1-2

Championship Game:
Tubbs 0-1
