*****OU-Texas Tech Pregame Notes/Predictions/Game Thread*****

Well, it wasn't the blow out I thought it was going to be, but we really shouldn't be losing to Tech at home. We played about 33 minutes of bad basketball tonight.

This was an embarrassing effort tonight. If this leads to missing out on the ncaa tournament it'll be one of the bigger melt downs and disappointments in ou hoops.

Ugh Woodard can't hit anything late in a game.

We not only lead the country in missed lobs, we also lead the country in missed layups.

That's an overreaction.

It's a bad loss, no doubt. But there's no reason to think this is going to end our season. This team will bounce back.

And let me follow that by saying this. There are a lot of things that create excitement in a bb program but there's one thing that destroys it and that's losing to BAD teams at home. You want better crowds? You can't let things like this happen. All the things that have helped build up just a little bit of crowd support are now wasted.

I think coming in OU thought they had this one and they got their butts handed to them. Now the real question is " will they be ready" Saturday.

This sorry performance should quiet the "we should be ranked" crowd. This is a horrible loss in terms of rpi and seeding. We are now back to the 8-9 seed range...ugh.

Whatever you think. Another one like this and we'll be NIT bound.
Our margin for error is razor thin and just got thinner.

At least falling out of the rankings motivated our guys.

Live by the jumper, die by the jumper.

As much as I like this team, the lack of a post scorer is a killer when the jumpers don't fall.

It killed us tonite.....

Tech's turner could throw it up from between his legs and it would roll in. Hield couldn't make a layup. That's basketball.

Regroup and play smarter Saturday.

Agreed and not just losing, but being embarrassed IMO
