I agreed with you about Blair being stupid at that point. I was referring to your statements making Pullen a good leader/model citizen. The dude is a thug, plain and simple.....

Like I said, Pullen has come a long way from when he started in Manhattan. He's made a big turnaround from what I see when I watch them and I love his toughness.

Maybe he still is a thug, but I don't see it when I watch them play this year. I think the kid deserves kudos for the turnaround he's made and for accepting the discipline that Martin tries to instill.

Sorry I actually had a life to attend to during the game today. LOL. I went out to watch the game about midway through the first quarter. And I don't feel like we played that bad honestly. For getting blown out by 15 points. The game was pretty much over after the T. But we fought hard. Just had too much foul trouble. Couldn't hit when we really needed to. Pretty much the same story we've had all year. But I think there was a lot more positive about the team after this game than negative. Nobody should rip on Cade anymore. He played his heart out today.

SOOOOOOOO what you are saying is that Martin brought in a guy who was obviously a bad character guy, and even after a couple of yrs was still having problems, but yet TODAY you praise Martin for thinking that he could change a guy like Pullen???

Obviously Pullen is ok WHEN THEY ARE WINNING, not so much when things get tough. Check out his bio from early in the season when that top 5 juggernaut was putried.

Could it be that maybe JC thought he could do the same with a TMG??

Why does anyone really expect him to be that good? He's probably not any different from Cade as far as his skills go yet for some reason people expect more from him.

Maybe so. However, I would bet you that if/when Pullen skipped study hall, or practice, or refused to taped so he walked out of practice, he was benched. Martin has been on Pullen's case from day 1 and has been very hard on Pullen. Much harder than Capel ever was on TMG from what I can tell.

Like I say, I don't recall any instances with Pullen getting a T during a game because he made a bad decision on a shot when they had a chance to make it a 1 possession game. If I am wrong, please correct me. Maybe something like this happened with Jacob last year or the previous year when he was younger, in fact it probably did because has been a bonehead at times.

I heard a radio interview with Martin earlier in the season and he admitted he was very hard on Pullen but also credited Pullen for not leaving and for wanting the discipline. You have to credit a kid like that, and that is what I am doing. I love his toughness and would love to have him on our team.
