NORMAN – After hosting two Big 12 foes ranked in the top 10 of the AP Poll, Oklahoma (12-7, 2-5 Big 12) travel to West Virginia (13-5, 2-4 Big 12) for a clash with the Mountaineers Wednesday at WVU Coliseum.

It will be the 24th meeting between the two programs with the Sooners wining the last four.

In Morgantown last season, Oklahoma won a double-overtime thriller 91-90 behind 28 points by Austin Reaves.

This is near the top of our chances for one or more conference road game wins. Difficult to be very confident right now but here’s to hoping we finally limit turnovers. (drinking a beer as I type).

Historically, we've played well at Morgantown. I'm somewhat encouraged.

Gotta make up 2 road games somewhere to make up for the 2 home losses. Going in, I felt 8-10 with the depth in the league this year would be a nice accomplishment and SHOULD get us in the tourney. As long as there are no "bad" (Q3) losses.

Plus, need to win tonight or we are staring at 6 in a row playing on the road against #1 on Saturday.

At this point, getting to 8 or 9 wins may be a challenge, so tonight is a near as a must-win one can have for this point in the season.

It’s obvious what we have to do to win. Take care of the ball and make shots. If we do those two things we have a good chance.

If we can't win this one then NIT is not looking like it'll be a possibility either.

You and me both...:woot

Toby tweeted that there is a change in the starting lineup, but didn’t say who. I could see at least a couple possibilities. I’m hoping maybe Harkless is the guy who will be coming off the bench … try to decrease the chances of an avalanche of turnovers before the first media timeout.

We know it's not Gibson, Hill, or Tanner Groves. So either Harkless or Goldwire is going to the bench and Cortes or Noland is starting.

Good efficiency on O so far.

Napoleon Dynamite replaces Jules Winfield in the starting lineup. So far only 1 turnover. We are getting good looks. Pretty good start

Tanner is a lot more aggressive, looking for his shot. 14-12 us. 11:53 left in the half

Who is that Tanner Groves guy? Haven't seen him score in nearly a month in seems.

Two fouls on EJ. Let’s hope that ends up being addition by subtraction, at least from a turnover perspective. May hurt us defensively, though.

We can beat WV with the back-cuts all night. Just have to play enough defense (especially perimeter) to hold them at arms length.
