First off the energy he brought for 2 solid hours was relentless.

1. Hates “portal” moser nickname. Doesn’t want that to be the culture.

2. Loves redshirting kids. Hard to do but if they buyin. Better in the long run

3. Big Rick. Name to watch. Didn’t do much for the first few weeks. Rick asked am I gonna play. Coach said “you haven’t put in the time to play” Rick said portal. But porter said. Keep coming to workouts. Rick did. His whole attitude and effort changed. Said he’d like to stay: porter said his development from the start of summer has been unbelievable.

4. Will Switch 1-4 and 1-5 at times.

5. Portal is necessary evil.

6. Details details details. Everything that they do.

Nice to hear that light might have switched on for Rick. Would love to see what he can contribute if he puts in the work.

Anyone fit athletic and over 6'10" can work his way to a big payday. Perhaps Porter's voice, perhaps just Rick's inner voice. Great for him.

Great to hear. I swear just seeing and hearing interviews he reminds me of the first time I met Brent Venables. Just energy bursting at the seams.

Venables is a great comparison. I can see that.

I'm not a fan of redshirting. I hope he pretty much only does that on big men that he actually transitions from "project"
