I can't believe Doug thinks Fran is a good fit at Oklahoma. I would rather have freaking Geno than Fran Fraschilla. There is no way Joe C is going to hire Fran.

Of the ones he listed, the only one that could remotely excite me would be Fraschilla.

Jacobsen? No thanks. ISU hired his boss, McDermott, and he failed miserably. He continued to recruit MVC talent to the Big 12. These MVC coaches can't make the jump in recruiting.

Embarassing to admit, but thanks for the translation. Cleared up the WTF problem I was having from the original post :eek:
 
there is something about Brooks Thompson i find intriguing. Not saying he is quite ready for a big job just yet, but he is one coach to watch in the next 5 years.

Assuming Brent is out of the picture, put your money on Ben Jacobson.
 
Jacobson would be solid. He is coaching at UNI. I just so happen to live in Cedar Falls (where UNI is located). From everything I know and have heard Ben is a GREAT guy and would be a good, solid coach. Don't know if he is quite ready for the big 12 yet though.
