Still 10-4 against top 50 teams. I'm loving that our past opponents are holding steady. I know most don't care or don't pay attention but I promise you the committee will come selection Sunday.

The ones that are obviously struggling to stay in the top 50 are UCLA and Tulsa. Tulsa snagged a big win against Temple that moved them from 50 to 42. UCLA lost a pretty big game they coulda won against Arizona but now will have 3 straight easy games that they should win and finish 19-11 which will keep them in the top 50 even with a loss in the CONF tourney. Texas is probably the one I'm worried about most just dropping off. They've got 4 games that are EASILY loseable games @WVU, @KU, Baylor, KSU. We really need them to hang in the top 50. I think finishing 2-2 in those games will keep them in there. 10-4 looks a lot better then 8-4. And to finish out this post ISU is 9th in the RPI and KU is 2nd. Which would mean we have a possibility of having a 12-4 record against RPI top 50 teams. I'll put that into perspective for you. Kentucky is 10-0 against top 50 teams and only plays 2 more top 50 schools. That's huuuuge and will be great for seeding purposes.

What's KSUs RPI? I know they were bad losses but when they beat KU, they may be a lil more legit

If you are going to show the good wins/losses, I think you need to show the bad ones as well. I'm not sure what qualifies as "bad", outside the top 100? But both need to be shown to reflect the entire picture, IMO.

No doubt we have a good set of wins, and some losses to good teams.

If you noticed I said TOP 50...so no I wasn't posting about the other 13 games games we had on our schedule...was strictly referencing how important it is for us to rack up those types of wins. Wasn't talking about our schedule as a whole. Wasn't saying we were gonna get a #1 seed based off those wins. Strictly talking about the importance of those wins to help us with seeding.

I appreciate the information and I am pretty sure most of us are intelligent enough to remember the four losses to teams outside the RPI top 50. I suspect most of us watched the games.

in reference to your inquiry about bad losses though we have 1 that's considered a "bad loss" and that's creighton Who sit at 132. They usually call 100 and above "bad losses".

Of course! I am stat nut so I think everyone should be haha. I just like seeing categories in which OU is at the top of the list in the country. Would like to see those 10 wins that our boys fought for stick come selection Sunday!
