OU wins in five, 8-0
Wodach HR and a Kelsey Arnold single with two on brought in the two runs needed to get to eight.

Paige pitched a five-inning perfect game.

All they did is garner seven rbis, three home runs, and pitch a perfect game. Should we include Macey? She was in that class but came a semester early, making her a soph in eligibility. She was outstanding this weekend.

More news from Hawaii.
All Tournament

MVP Pitcher - Pendley
Tournament MVP- Chamberlain

Chamberlain has been pulling balls to left a lot. DePaul put on a shift with the 2nd base player on the ss side of the 2nd base bag, the outfield was shifted toward left. Her last at bat, Lauren hit the ball to Right for a 2 rbi triple.

I did, however, notice that Lauren's swings were different in the Hawaii game. She seemed to be pulling out.

The two swings on which Nicole homered were absolutely perfect swings, a rarity. Those weren't so much power as timing and picturesque. Lauren was absolutely in a zone in the first three games, but off a bit in the fourth and fifth. Happens.

It is all about where they are pitching the ball. They were real careful with Lauren last night.

It is interesting that Alabama has such a softball following. In the only year that I can find attendance, 2013, they had about 2900 fans per game. Next best was Arizona with 2200. OU was ninth with about 1100. They have a lot more fans at games than most schools. I wonder how much of it is weather.
