Sooners formally announce game with USC at BOK Center

Oklahoma and Southern California will play at Tulsa’s BOK Center on Dec. 15.

The Oklahoma men’s basketball program officially announced the game Monday, and tickets for the game will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on BOKCenter.com.

“We’re extremely grateful for the support that Tulsa-area fans have given to our program,” OU coach Lon Kruger said in a release. “The OU alumni and fans in Northeastern Oklahoma have always shown their dedication to the Sooners by traveling to Norman, and we’re excited to return the favor by bringing this marquee matchup to Tulsa. We aim to bring the Sooner basketball experience to BOK Center and create a terrific atmosphere as we take on a talented USC team.”

While I wish we had more marquee non-conference games at the LNC, I like this move to accommodate OU fans in the Tulsa area. Hopefully, a good size crowd will show up.
