Texas Tech at OU, 6:30

Texas Tech has played no one of significance in their non-conference schedule. They have only played one team with a winning record, and one at 5-5. Every year it seems Tech comes in to conference season with a "glowing" record, and ends up as one of the worst teams in the conference. Until they prove me wrong, the Sooners win this one by 2 touchdowns and a field goal at least, the next three games will tell just how far the kids have come since their difficult non conference games.

It also seems to me that when we play Tech:

1) they have a star who does absolutely nothing
2) they have some reserve forward who goes off on us
3) they make every mistake known to man
4) they look like a better team on paper and as individuals than they are on court.

Agreed. I'm looking forward to seeing how our non-conference schedule pays off now against Big 12 opponents. Especially looking forward to the Texas game. Very beatable team this year at least at this point

Not the best start to a game that I seen

wow what a horrible first-half! If we cannot beat teams like Texas Tech, we will definitely not make the tournament, let alone even go .500 in the Big 12, needless to say when 10 games for the season. I hope to God they turn this game around in the second half because if we can't pull out a game against Tech at home...this season is over :-(

Same old crappy coaching as usual

Wow, how fortunes have changed. There must be a crowd of 150 in the Lloyd Noble tonight.

The ice on the road made it very hard to get to the game if you didn't live in Norman.

You guys made me laugh anyway by dramatically overrating the players we have recruited this year. They are short, incredibly non-athletic, and horrible shooters.

It will be a long year. Will they find some way to win over 3 games in conference?

And the coaches destroyed their confidence by making them play a difficult non-conference schedule 80% on they road. Dumb!

Wow, I can't believe it but I agree with some of what you said. They are very slow, short and not so much athletic but looks like they still play hard at times for Sherri & Colton...Looks to me Colton in a hurry to get home and play his new video games he got for Christmas

Sweetest, I cannot believe YOU said THAT.

Outside of Robertson, I don’t see much, but maybe some will make a big jump between this year and next.

Mandy Simpson may not be 6'5" but she is a very smart basketball player.

OK? Who kidnapped Sweetest? Doesn't sound like her.

Madi is quite athletic. Taylor is a lot more athletic than we had heard. She can also shoot with the best in the nation. Tatum is pretty quick, as is Jessi. Nydia is fast, but has no clue as to what to do, yet. Pretty athletic group of girls.

The girls played with a lot of uncertainty tonight. Uncertainty can make a very good player into a very weak player. We didn't wake up until the fourth quarter. Glad that Shaina turned it up a notch. Our three sophs were key tonight. Mandy had some excellent passes and key plays. Ana helped with the flow late in the game.

We had 18 assists to 11 turnovers tonight. Tech lost because they had nine assists to twenty turnovers. Neither team shot well. We had maybe our worst night of the year from the field. Have to look that up. Shot 33% from two and three. Tech was only 3 of 22 from three.

It seemed that they beat us on the boards a lot worse than 55-47.
