What Is Your NCAA Tourney Seed Prediction?

A first round win should exceed expectations of any reasonable fan. Going into the season, the expectation was to make the tournament. Just because we started hot doesn’t mean it is reasonable to move the goal posts.

Meh.

My expectations are based on the season as a whole. That is more telling of who we were and where our program currently sits than one or two games in the Dance. 1st round is literally a toss-up type game (seed-wise). Winning that doesn't change who we were all season.

And I've said that consistently on this board, so that isn't some attempt to discredit a win if that is what we do. I just don't put a lot of stock in one game over the 30 we've already played.

Yes he can. He has the Johnnies playing well at the right time. If I'm UCONN, I'm NOT trying to play fast with St John's. Instead, I'm slowing it down and making them play half-court. The pace couldn't be more perfect for Pitino's guys.

Watching the UCONN-St Johns game and noticed Zuby Ejiofor playing for St John’s. Did not realize that’s where he ended up. We could REALLY use him. That’s a recruitment that would’ve been nice to win

Yea this is exactly what St. John’s wants. UConn should be able to work them over in the halfcourt.

Don’t get mad at another fan cause OU completely crapped the bed and went 2-8 in the last ten games. We all feel the frustration but it’s completely on OU’s coaching staff and players for being in this situation. At one point this team had 19 wins and was in complete control of their own destiny. Now they’re not.

No matter what anyone says we’re all frustrated with the results. But there’s no use bickering amongst the fan base. It’s on the coaches and players for this.

Doesn't really belong here but, in the rare chance OU misses the tourney, I'd be in favor of not going to the NIT. Some will agree, some will disagree. I'd much rather Moser just get to work on the portal, etc.

Agree. Nothing to gain. I did not feel that way two years ago. Thought Moser year one was somewhat positive and felt an NIT run could have been mildly beneficial. Also thought it mildly interesting as a fan that year. This year? No way. Would be as anticlimactic a way to end a third season of a tenure as possible. OU would likely be a 1 seed and the LNC would be a tomb. I think there would be as little interest as you could imagine. And now with the portal, uncertainty about who returns, et. it would seem to be an easy “no thanks.”

St. John’s definitely didn’t hurt their position tonight. Whether they were ahead or behind us heading into the day, they’ll likely stay in the same spot.
