William & Mary game thread

2 of 10 (1 of 6 from three) is not what we were hoping to see. Manek has also hurt us on the defensive end.

Box score is delayed as he took a shot hitting the side of the board which was his 11th shot taken (currently 4/13). And he was actually at 18% and not 9% (my bad).

Knight is just a beast... he looks like he could step onto an NBA court tomorrow

This win has a chance to look good in late February\early March

type of win that will make a team better down the road

Quality win.....

good to see the team go through some adversity and find what it took to eek out a win. Team didn't play smart through most of the night; Reaves almost has to be on the court at all times.

I didn't see a minute of the game and it was tough to listen to on the radio, but a great win. We ran into a red-hot team and toughed it out. Very proud of our guys.

W&M look like a good team. This was one of those grinder games early in the season. We won. That’s all that matters.

The home crowd was pathetic. It’s also why I like us playing a lot of road games or neutral site games early in the season, cuz home crowds will suck until January.

They were able to pass the ball around and to the perimeter at times like in the NBA.

A win is a win. Pulled it out at the end like good teams do.

The casual fan surely had no clue that W&M was actually a pretty darned good team (heck, I didn't until read about them over the past two or three days).

And I get the idea of being "road warriors" in non-conference, but if we don't play at home, attendance will never improve. It sort of smacks of petulance.

Toby just said on the radio that the Sooners had just four turnovers in the game, which tied a school record in the Big 12 era (they also had just four turnovers against Ole Miss in the tourney last season). That was huge. OU ended up taking seven more shots than W&M.
