For the pressure he faced he played a great game. 3/5 10 points 5 boards and 3 assists. 6 TOs but that happens against this defense. Solid game!
Not bad....he relaxed a couple of times and lost the ball, but overall, a good night for woodard. I hold my breath when any of our other guards try to break the press.
Yeah it's a tough task to be the only one who can dribble through traffic. I feel like he has reall played well for awhile now! We see what the team is capable of when teams have to respect his drive and dish...he's really playing good ball right now. Proud if him coming out of that awful slump he was in. Annnnd he got the ball across as fast as he was able tonight!![]()

If Jordan can continue to play at this level, we will be extremely difficult to beat. He was the player of the game to me. The only guy hitting FTs and definitely our go to guy to get the ball upcourt against the WVU press. I was also happy with Thomas helping break the press. Critical tonight.
He played well but Thomas abused WVU during the big first half run.
Agree. JW had a solid effort. Do we have any guard help coming in for next year? I know we have Pritchard coming but not until 16-17 right?
Woodards focus has been better lately. He also looks much better when he is making more baskets. He had a tall order last night against WV. In a game that is as frantic as that one you can really see the difference in him and the other guards. He had a couple of lapse in intensity which turned into turnovers but with as crazy as a game as it was you can't blame him for that too much. Without him a game like that would have had a completely different flow and probably outcome.
For the most part, but he (and Buddy) had their pockets picked from behind due to inattentiveness, and Woodard's play where he tweaked something was horrible. Just stood there with his ass out dribbling waiting to get stripped.
We did much better than the last game, but our guards still wait to get double teamed (often on the sideline) before looking to pass way too often. Outside of Woodard, it's so bad that Thomas is the 2nd guy I want handling the ball when the other team is pressing.
