2024 2 Signees 1 open ship offers/prospects

Re: 2024 offers/prospects

That is awesome, I forgot Godwin is from Ada too. Will be a special treat for you, Ada!

Yes it will, Tiny! LaNeisha Caufield and Caton Hill were starters on the OU women’s Final Four team in the 2001-02 season. I’m fairly certain Cooper and Godwin will be a first on the men’s team. Another FF would be nice!

Oklahoma: “I love just talking to coach Porter (Moser), the way he envisions what he’s going to do with the program and how he’s staying the course. They’ve been on a struggle streak, but he’s staying the course. I love his energy and how confident he is that he’s going to turn it around.”

Visit plans: “We’re trying to plan the Wake Forest and Cal visits, but nothing’s been set.”

Decision timeline: “I don’t know, probably sometime mid-summer, that’s kind of what I’m thinking, but I don’t know. It could be earlier, it could be later, I haven’t really thought too much about it I guess. When I know, I’ll know.”

RIVALS' REACTION
Forsythe has a good chance to crack the Rivals150 when we update next month. There’s going to be a lot more schools throw their hat into the ring, but I like where the Oklahoma programs stand currently, as well as Wake Forest. Let’s see if an official visit to California can help it continue to make a push.

5. JEREMIAH JOHNSON

https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2024/jeremiah-johnson-257728

WHY HE’LL BREAK INTO THE RANKINGS: Johnson is a bit of an interesting case. He missed some time early in his high school career due to injury, and it took him some time to round back into form when he returned to the floor. These days, however, the 6-foot-3 Johnson seems to be shooting the ball well from the outside again and he’s shined brightly in spurts for a loaded Wasatch Academy squad. Johnson has decent size for a guard and because of it has a knack for drawing contact and getting to the line. His play this season has proven enough to get him back in the thick of the rankings discussion and it feels as though the Oklahoma-born standout could help his stock even more with a statement summer.

RECRUITMENT: Johnson’s recruitment has a bit of a Midwest feel as schools such as Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas and Tulsa are heavily involved. Kansas, Kansas State and Creighton are also kicking the tires on his recruitment but have yet to offer.

I think he was a top 25 player while at PC North as a freshmen. Slowly worked himself lower and got shot which took a while to recover from. Transferred to Norman North and had a decent season but eventually fell out of the top150. Transferred to this prep school and seems to be doing well. Good for him.

Re: 2024 offers/prospects

I dont think OU is involved in JJ but I could be wrong.

Re: 2024 offers/prospects

Was told last night that OU is in good shape with Forsythe.

Re: 2024 offers/prospects

So, it sounds like Forsythe is Oklahoma's version of Jimmy Chitwood. If true, I hope he picks us.
