It was a close loss to a surging team. Plus we beat them twice before. I honestly don't see any scenario where we drop to a 6 seed. IMO, a 4 seed is still not out of the question, though things would have to play out perfectly.

Really there is little difference between a 4 and 5 seed anyway.

Disagree. The 12/13 seed is kind of the dividing line in terms of the bottom teams. 13 seeds are going to be smaller conference teams that snuck in by winning their tournaments, or that won bad conferences, but aren't very good teams. 12 seeds are bigger schools that might have struggled for part of the season, or got hot late.

It's not coincidence that 12's upset 5's way more often than 13's upset 4's.

Obviously after that first game, it doesn't matter much. The 4's and 5's are playing each other.

Why does that worry you? I don't know much about Harvard but I find it hard to believe they have the athletes to beat OU.

Yes, I remember you said that in a thread I started. My prediction was us playing Nebraska. The only reason I don't want to play them is because odds are, they are going to win at least one NCAA tournament game in my lifetime. I don't want to be their first-ever conquest...I'll end up feeling like we just lost to a #16 seed.

Regardless of who we play, I feel a Sweet 16 run coming!

I don't hate the current ESPN matchups. Has us as a 5 seed against NC State, and then likely playing Cincy.

TU has an interesting matchup against SDST, the team that knocked us out last year. I think TU could win that game.

I think we move down with UCLA winning the pac 12 and Kentucky will move up because of the name of the team...Also VCU and New Mexico will move up for winning their conference titles too (all 6 seeds) so we should be a 6
