... it will be proven correct within a couple of years.
ONLY with complete turnover with new talent well above what we have. Absent that you are fruity.

You're really dramatic, by the way.
...and...?
Just an observation. I enjoy it compared to some of the other posters that are overly predictable.
Do you have a point?
I love OU basketball and hate what has happened to it since Kelvin screwed it over.
My point is that OU was lucky with Blake Griffin. I am not going to praise Capel or Joe C based on Blake Griifin. Blake wascgreat because of Blake not because of coaching or the moves of the AD. Without Blake, Capel was fired a year or two earlier.
In his second year Capel had Blake, Longar and Taylor. That front court should have dominated the Big XII. Under Capel it was one game above .500

Blake made us good, Capel made us bad. Got it.

It's not so much that Joe C. can't afford to screw this up....our program can't afford for him to screw this up.
We have been dragged down to the depths, the bottom of the barrel. The headway made by Billy and Kelvin is in serious jeopardy (if it hasn't been lost already). The "new" of our new practice facility has lost it's luster as a recruiting tool.
This hire is huge for this programs' future. I honestly think if he blows this we may never be relevant in college basketball again aside from the once-a-decade flash in the pan.
If you doubled Griffin's point total from his two years he'd still be short of what Wayman did in three.Well he "screwed up" the last hire and we went to an Elite Eight, a round of 32 and got possibly the greatest player ever at OU out of it.
