KC Hotel suggestions/Big 12 Tourney

I'm going to be shooting the tourney in KC and need hotel suggestions. I have stayed at the Hyatt Crown Center in the past, but it is booked up. Anyone know of anything similar near the Sprint Center?

The Hilton President is the closest and it's probably the nicest. 2 blocks from the sprint center and right in the middle of the Power and Light. I work between the Sprint Center and the Hilton President.

The Aladdin Holiday Inn is another block past the President as is the Crown Plaza hotel. I would say both of these hotels are probably the cheapest in the PLC, but both are nice for the price.

The Marriott is also close (it's actually 2 buildings across the street from each other) and across the street from the Marriott (not on the map) is the Hotel Phillips. It's a very nice hotel with one of the cities best steakhouses in the hotel (Phillips Steak and chop house).

If you have any plans of attending the womens tourney, too. You should stay in the one of these hotels because both venues are walking distance and you won't need your car.
