So....they didn't use the "S-Curve" at all.

There are a TON of puzzling bracketing issues I see this year. Worst job the committee has ever done at putting a bracket together, and that's not complaining at all about selections or seeding.
 
I agree its a puzzling bracket. The excuse that the Midwest is so tough because most of those teams are Midwest teams, is a poor excuse at balancing the regionals. The whole point of pods was to make the regionals as equal as possible while allowing higher seeds, and as many teams as possible, to stay closer to home thus balancing competition and limiting travel costs. Terrible job this year on all fronts.
