Unless we are hitting 3s, I’m not seeing anything that bodes well for OU

We know Lon is not exactly renowned for his ingame coaching, but he's got to figure out a way to get Trae some open looks from 3 to get his confidence back. We have zero shot of winning anything if he isn't making 4+ 3s per game.

Not sure what's worse; watching this team struggle, or listening to Dick Vitale pretending to be a good announcer.

He has a tendency to be bothersome when one's favorite team is losing, but enjoyable when one's team is winning and he's heaping the praise. I remember two years ago in that classic game at the Phog which Buddy scored like 45. During the game, he yelled out: "Buddy Hield is #30 in Chad Ford's latest mock draft?! Are you kidding me!? Time to update your board, Mr. Ford! He's way better than that!"

The reason were on this losing streak is kruger couldn't figure out how to get mcgusty to fit and we don't care about defense

Re: defense....Kruger either hasn't demanded the effort or he hasn't pushed the correct buttons to get the effort. Effort isn't the only problem (by a long stretch), but more consistent effort and fighting you @ss off every defensive possession would be a start. As good as Trae is on offense, we are horrible on defense when he is on the floor....it's like it's 5 on 4. And both of our post guys give up position like $2 hookers.

And yes....getting Kam going is very important, but it's a moot point until we actually decide we want to defend someone. We aren't beating anyone worth a flip until this happens....and I don't see a Savannah State on the schedule anytime soon.
