Re: defense....Kruger either hasn't demanded the effort or he hasn't pushed the correct buttons to get the effort. Effort isn't the only problem (by a long stretch), but more consistent effort and fighting you @ss off every defensive possession would be a start. As good as Trae is on offense, we are horrible on defense when he is on the floor....it's like it's 5 on 4. And both of our post guys give up position like $2 hookers.

And yes....getting Kam going is very important, but it's a moot point until we actually decide we want to defend someone. We aren't beating anyone worth a flip until this happens....and I don't see a Savannah State on the schedule anytime soon.

We don't fight through screens, we don't have good proper def stance. If ya notice, maybe I'm wrong...correct me if I am, but we don't "square" up to def out top. My guess is we are afraid they'll get past us.

I know some guys you defend that way to force them to their weak side, but I see most of ku's guys come straight up on our guards.

I'll watch closer.

well, its true and it's not true. when we are shooting in rhythm then it's true. but as we've not been hitting guys hesitate a second and they close out on it more. maybe now that mcgusty and cj are hitting that will be the case.
