i thought refs were horrible tonight. Both sides...I thought that called some weird no calls on them and the some weird things on us. Very inconsistent.

Bad night for us. Just did not play well especially in second half. Team thought we were going to come out and smoke them. Got to keep your focus.

The worst thing of the night was the announcing. The color guy did not know as much as my dog about basketball.

Obviously, we did our best to lose that game. The thing I love is this is the type of game that KU has won year after year after year to take the Big 12. This is the type of game that we have lost the last few years (see KSU twice last year). This win, while not pretty, was a big one. Take the W and get ready for WVU.

Agree totally...maybe some more focus in practice by the young guys. Got to get them involved...

He was awesome tonight. Very confident and showed what he can be on offense

We were a deeper team last year from a production standpoint.....at least in the front court.

Probably a wash for the season. But we're trending in the wrong direction, fast.

RE: Lattin and Bennett vs AK, Buford and Jamuni.

But Booker+Walker average 8 ppg last year. Which we aren't getting now.

Why are OU fans complaining about a road win where OU never trailed?

People are analyzing. There was a lot of sloppy play tonight but they still came out with the win. People have really high expectations for this team and want to keep watching them win every game. We are neither a coach or a player so all we can do is talk about the games and keep hanging onto this awesome ride.

You can't be f@*%ing serious?! Everyone is happy that we won, but good gawd we tried our best to give a game away against a very poor team. Turnovers, missed FTs down the stretch, poor decision-making, and carelessness with the ball.....if you don't think fans can be a little upset at this effort, well then I can't help you.

Again, we are elated we won....especially with regards to how sh!tty we played. But c'mon, don't try to spin this like we were in control from tip to buzzer. We have to play better on the road moving forward. We have higher expectations for this team.

Good Lord. I believe theirs one undefeated team left in the Country. Higher expectations. Let's see 14-1 ranked no 2 in the country and could be no 1 after this week. Maryland goes down on the road. KANSAS gets buried on the road. Iowa State loses at Texas. Mich St loses on the road. Duke goes down on the road tonight. We played a pretty bad 2nd half but it happens. I would say the expectations are being met. Maybe not for you but you don't play the game. I will take a two of win on the road against a rival with a target on your back and will be all season. It's called success. Enjoy the ride or I guess you could dwell on the Capel days. Toughest conference in the country and wins on the road are going to be very difficult from top to bottom in this league. Would not surprise me if the winner of this league has a minimum of three losses and maybe 4 or 5.

Yes, I have high expectations for this team....winning the conference and making a deep run in the tournament. I said I was elated/relieved that we won, but I'm also glad we were playing osu last night.....because outside of maybe TCU, we lose on the road with that performance against every other team in our conference. Hopefully, @KU will be our standard on the road and last night's performance is just an outlier....but that remains to be seen.

Never said I wanted to dwell on the Capel years, but a nice strawman attempt there.

And this is the toughest league in the country this year. And we also got away with one last night. I hit on several areas that we were less than stellar. Simply put, we have to play better than we did last night on the road moving forward. The effort at KU was tremendous, but the last two games, we have been extremely careless with the ball, have made our share of bad decisions, and our game management, at times, hasn't been what it needs to be in the 2nd halves. We won't be able to get away with play like that on Saturday against WV.

I said I was happy to win, but again, we need to play much better. And if this makes me less of a fan than some of our righteous fans for saying this, then so be it. I can handle being the villain.
