OU at Iowa State

I hate this game ever year because the only real way you can see it is to travel to Iowa or pay those dummies and I’m not doing that. Maybe ESPNGO will pick it up this year.

According to realtimerpi, OU is #44, and Iowa State is #189. Yet, Iowa State is favored on their home court. #12 Tennessee beat #83 Kentucky by 16 in Louisville. Evina Westbrook and Rennia Davis played a big role. Tennessee is the only team to beat Texas which they did in Knoxville.
 
ViVi not starting today. All 3 freshman plus Gabbi and Maddie.

Maddie has five, and she is the only one who isn't hitting. She hit a three and two free throws and has missed five straight shots. We are shooting 58% from the field, 44% from three. Maddie is 1 of 5 from three. Ana is 1 of 2. Gabbi is 2 of 2.

Maddie scored five. Isn't that 1,000?

Iowa State isn't shooting well. But, they are rebounding very well.

The 6.95 isn't worth it. It stops more than it starts. No flow at all.

I tried that last year and just decided "not again.

Apparently (according to the radio folks) the officiating is, well lets say inventive. They called two fouls on one play - both against vivi. Called one that had not even been whistled during a review of the other foul. Now that's strange - and likely a violation of the rules.
 
What did they hit? About three straight threes at the end? Hit a run of four shots. Finally, they missed.
 
Well, we slipped through with a win on that one. Should get us out of the big-12 cellar. Finally.
 
74-69 good win nice game by Pellington, Vivi looks like foul trouble only one bucket and 4 fouls LLanusa was quiet, 5 points, Williams another good game 12 points. Manning 1/8 from the field, wow. Still manages 12 points thanks to 9/10 from the line.
 
Vivi's foul problems in this game may be reversed somewhat after Sherri gets through talking to the Big Twelve. They called two on one play, one illegally.

I don't think anyone liked these officials.

Very good, much needed outing and win for the Sooners. Congrats ladies. Agree on the radio broadcast. Terrible. Can't follow or tell what is happening. Too much extra yapping and MT apparently feels like she has to say something every time BB says something. Beginning to sound like the LosuR football broadcasts. Too much cheerleading and moaning about officiating. Please give us a play-by-play so we can mentally envision what is happening on the court.
