OU & KU in the mountain west.

We are strong enough in football and they are strong enough in basketball that we could turn it into a conference better than the Big 8 and equal to the Big XII. I have said all along I think the Big XII is drastically overrated. The MWC is not far behind in football if behind at all.

I almost wouldn't mind seeing it happen.

You add OU, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri & Boise State to the Mountain West and it's a heck of a conference in both football and basketball.

Add up the Big XII hoops and football titles the past decade from those schools. 7 out of 10 in football and 7 out of 10 in basketball. If you added Okie State instead of Boise State it would be 10 out of 10 in basketball.

Seriously cheno, Texas and Nebraska can act like big shots all they want. We know who owns the conference in hoops and football. And it's not even close.

As for Missouri, I would actually take Boise State over them in the MWC.

I have to wonder what the mountain west is doing to try and make some magic here. They have Utah, TCU, and BYU. If they could add teams like Mizzou, Kansas, Kansas State, Boise, and perhaps another Big 12 school they would be in business.
