Will be interesting to see how Fitz, Arent, Washington, and Puma handle the 7-4 big man.

Andrew Fitzgearld, Tyler Neal, Sam Grooms ,Carl Blair and Cameron Clark will be the projected Starting Lineup

Dang. Hope Osby turns it on soon. I don't think anybody predicted Neal starting over him.

As for Newell, he isn't even starting over Blair, with Pledger not playing. Time to back off of some of the expectations/predictions that have been given to him.

Maybe Kruger is playing with our heads. He reads the board, and then goes with a lineup that is the opposite of what most of us are predicting.

I didn't think LK had a mean streak, but you can never be sure about some people. :ez-laugh:

Haha. Maybe.

I'm guessing this is his way of motivating. He has to win these guys over, and start setting the tone for how he wants things done in our program.

I think WT has it right. Bet by conference, Osby is in the lineup and Pledger is in the lineup. I think he keeps the kids on their toes until then by mixing and matching.

I had heard so many good things about osby, I probably had expectations that were out of whack. That said, I think he has looked pretty good in the exhibition games. He was supposed to be soft, and he has been anything but that so far. I thought he was supposed to be a big that wanted to be a perimeter player, but he has been our best rebounder so far. So, who knows what Lon is seeing at practice, but he looks pretty good to me in the games.

I'm starting to like this team more than I thought I would.

It's a motivational tactic, one that is used quite a bit early on in the season for any team who has struggled for a few seasons.

Well, I don't understand exactly the Blair deal. But, I was at practice this afternoon and Carl is doing just fine at the #2. He is and has been doing a pretty good job with the aggresive on ball defense that Kruger wants.

He has quick hands and slaps the ball away often. And his turnovers cut way back when he isn't the point guard. I wouldn't consider it a knock on Calvin. He has had many great practices and he has played well in the exibitions.

Tyler has played well, but he isn't better than Osby. Today he had 9 guys in redshirts rotating in and out with the 1's. I wouldn't make too much out of it.

With two winable games coming up. I just think he is getting as many people ready to play before the 3 games in 3 days California trip. He won that deal last year and getting ready for it again is what all of this is about.
