- Gary Franklin Jr. gave NBE a list of Washington, Cal, Stanford, USC, Connecticut, Arizona, Baylor and Oklahoma. Franklin was committed to USC before Tim Floyd resigned and has re-opened his recruitment.
He is a 4 star PG

NBE’s favorite player from the LJSA and King City Classic, Phil Pressey, is doing work again here in North Augusta. The complete point guard listed Connecticut, Florida, Baylor, LSU, Arizona, UCLA and Missouri as the schools on his list.
Hmm.
- College coaches turned out in droves today. Just a sampling of the head coaches Borzello spotted: Tom Izzo, Ben Howland, Mark Fox, Brian Gregory, Johnny Dawkins, Travis Ford, Paul Hewitt, Sean Miller, Josh Pastner, Jeff Capel, Lorenzo Romar, Bill Self, John Calipari, Billy Donovan, Mike MOntgomery, Thad Matta, Coach K, Tony Bennett, Dino Gaudio, Craig Robinson, Bruce Weber, Chris Mack and others.
Capel representing.

Justin Anderson is a class of 2012 small forward with Boo Williams and Montrose Christian. After Boo used a late run to put away the Georgia Stars, Anderson told NBE that he likes Texas, UNC and Oklahoma early in his recruitment. He has been to UNC and Georgetown and also has interest from Duke and Villanova.
Seems like OU is being mentioned with a lot of 2012 guys.

Terrence Jones is a 6-foot-8 power forward out of Jefferson High school in Portland (OR). After his I-5 Elite squad picked up the win over the Arkansas Wings, Jones told NBE that Duke, North Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Georgetown, Marquette, Maryland, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, UCLA, USC, Cal, Texas and Kansas are on his list. All have offered already, except Duke and UNC.

Jones has taken unofficial visits to Cal, Oregon State, Georgetown and UNC. He is looking to narrow his list by summer’s end.
I know his name has been thrown around some as a possible commit but it doesn't look good according to this.

Hopefully we keep getting people from VA so it becomes a pipeline. Tiny, Pledger, and hopefully JA.

We're hearing more about 2011 and 2012 recruits than 2010. OU needs a bigtime commit to start the trickle of commits.

Confirming what we've already heard about Lamb.
- Doron Lamb currently has Kentucky, Kansas, Oklahoma, Marquette, Connecticut, Arizona, Rutgers and St. John’s on his list.

He told NBE he liked his recent visit to UK and wants to see Kansas and Oklahoma.

He has also visited Louisville in the past, but he is no longer considering the Cards.

If Capel does somehow pull in Lamb then the biggest thing about that is Capel went head to head with Self and Calapari and got a 5 star recruit from them.

I would do this when I coached aau basketball if I wanted to force the other team to play a man defense.
