Recap of active PF/C targets??

With the great recruiting news at SG/Wing, can anyone provide a list of the active targets for the big man scholarship.
Waverly is out, Criswell is out.

Great question, Atlanta. And, do we have just one 2012 left?

Yes.

I was thinking it'd be nice to grab a JUCO big, but after looking at the class breakdown, a HS kid would be better. That said, if there isn't a HS big available, I wouldn't hesitate to go grab a JUCO if I were LK.

This 2013 class is going to be VERY important. Assuming we fill the last 2012 scholarship, we'll have 6 scholarships available, with needs across the board.

I noticed that OU is recruiting a 6-10 C/PF from Milwaukee, Phillip Nolan, per Rivals.

"Right now Oregon, Oklahoma, Marquette, Clemson, Minnesota, and Texas A&M are the schools recruiting me the hardest," said Nolan. "At this point I have not yet scheduled any visits.

Sounds like it may be tough to pry him away from Tubby, though. That's all i got..

If there's nobody out there that absolutely blows us away, I like saving that last ship for a transfer. Especially since Kruger seems to have a knack for landing them.

Maybe that patience pays off and we get a big time transfer big man at the semester break or at the end of the season.

Not positive, but I think Nolan is the kid that is friends with Griffin on the girls team. So, maybe we have an "in" there, if that is the case.

I like the idea of a freshman, that can come in and redshirt, and then get in the rotation in 2013. Of course, you can always use a really good big, but we should have enough inside players next year without a newcomer having to play. Fitz, Mbaye, Arent, Osby, and neal should still be around in 2013. it would also be nice to have a good 4 year big come into the program to build around for the future. But, in the end, you just need good players, so if Kruger's best option is a transfer or juco, so be it.
