I looked back at last year. Kelsey struggled in some early games last year as well.

Kelsey has just been so shaky. We should have been out of the inning where they hit the 3 run homer in the 2nd except for an error on Kelsey and a couple of walks. OU had 10 walks today. ASU had 3 hits.

Especially the way the Kelsey and Shelby pitched. On Friday, Shelby's first pitch was hit over the wall against Washington and today she was scrapping to throw strikes. Then you load them against batters that had not done anything today.

Everybody loses a game or two in softball, however, OU needs Kelsey to find her pitching stroke to be a great team. Last Year's performance would be all that I ask for to go along with Paige. We also need Georgia Casey back.

They need Georgias's bat back. She has been a constant in that lineup the last three years.

OU is hitting .381 as a team but they really need Georgia's power at the clean up spot. Hope she gets back soon. It really messes with the defensive lineup with her out. She is integral to this team's success.

That is a bummer with Georgia, hopefully, she will be back in early April for the playoff run!!!!

Yes, bad for Georgia and for the team. Gasso has repeatedly said she has the highest softball IQ of any player she's coached but like last year this will allow more players to get quality playing time and it will benefit the team way more than hinder it. I agree we sure could use Georgia's bat but others will step up like they have already. This weekend will really give them a measuring stick to where they are right now.

I would be surprised if Georgia would redshirt for the reason that she's from Australia and would be away from home another year, if her intentions are to return home once she graduates. Also, if she's planning on remaining in US to play pro ball, she loses another year for that along with her teammates that she arrived at OU would all be gone.
