The Sooners could lose both games and finish the season with a 4-12 conference record. But if they play well at Lubbock, there's there's reason to believe they'll finish the year with six conference wins.
No one's gonna call that a successful year in the Big XII. But six wins would be pretty good for a team that was picked to finished 11th in the conference. And it was only a few weeks ago that many of our posters here on OUHoops were predicting OU would win anywhere from zero to two games in league play.
One encouraging thing, for me, is that the Sooners have continnued to play hard during their current losing streak.
