A week or so ago, it was said that an OU assistant was in the mix for the Pepperdine opening.

I don't think that's going to happen.

But I do think the assistant is...Brock Morris. Judging by some follows...

I'd favor Lutz. Porter (hopefully) has one more shot. Lutz presumably has three or four seasons to work with, since (unlike PM) he truly is inheriting a bad situation. Most competent coaches can get a P5 school to the tourney within four years.

My bad. I forgot we went 12-19 in Lon’s last year like OSU did this year. I keep having this faulty memory that we made the tournament, won a game, and returned 3 starters off that team. Lutz totally has it easy compared to CW Moser.
