NORMAN – Coming off a victory in the first round, No. 25/24 Oklahoma (15-9, 9-8 Big 12) has a quick turnaround when it faces No. 11/12 Kansas (19-8, 12-6) in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championship on Thursday.

The Sooners and Jayhawks split the regular-season series and are facing each other in the postseason for the first time in almost 15 years.

The Sooners played some of their best defense of the year in their two matchups with the Jayhawks, and OU's guard-heavy lineup will now face the Jayhawks without KU center David McCormack (13.4 points, 6.1 rebounds). OU senior guard Austin Reaves has scored at least 20 points in five of his last seven outings and the All-Big 12 First Team point guard will look to lead the Sooners to their first Big 12 Championship semifinals appearance since 2016.

OU +2.5 O/U 135

I'd like to see Gibson regain his outside shooting prowess while at the same time others not losing theirs.

Fun fact for the gamblers on this board. OU is 7-1 against the spread this season as underdogs, compared to 5-11 against the spread as favorites.

OU is 0-6 against the spread in their last 6 (all favorites). The last time they covered was in Morgantown, when they were 3.5 pt dogs.

I've take the good guys and the points tonight. Boomer

Fingers crossed, we desperately need this win!!! More so than KU, for certain! I will be watching and rooting for the Sooners, however with how we've been playing, I don't know...it does help that KU will be short a center, but can we pull this one out?

I HATE that OSU best WVU today! Yes, i'm bitter, but I don't believe they should be allowed to play in the NCAA this year, as previously decided.

Rebound, limit turnovers and use defense to get easy baskets and I like the Sooners chances. I think Manek might have a big game tonight.

This is a must win.

I’ve got some serious action on this game.

Manek didn't play in the loss in Lawrence and didn't do much in Norman as he was still recovering. He might be the X factor in this one.

Harkless has lost his shooting touch. D is still there though.

Good d both ways early.

Brady doing a good job not letting Wilson drive on him

Bad travel call on Harmon early. That was a jump ball at the worst for Ou

Absolutely awful by Manek to try and take on that double team for some reason. 0 basketball IQ.
