Everyone, it really excites me to tell everyone this and I can't believe that the news hasn't come out yet.

So I got my hands on a copy of this year's media guide last week. On the second to last page, it profiles our radio and tv play-by-play announcers. It had BBSr., Mike Houck, the guy that does play-by play for Sooner Sports network, etc.

But when I looked at who was doing the COLOR for Sooner Sports network telecasts this year, I was shocked and overjoyed.



Ladies and gentlemen, our color analyst this year will be none other than:

:ez-laugh: It has been known to happen. Funny thing is that I do that in "real life" with my amigos. It's something that Chris Berman and I share in common (hopefully one of the only things).

I dont know how big of a deal it is for this year since we are likely in for a tough season, but I love Billy and I know Billy has a good relationship with Capel. He seems to be a Sooner for life and I think it will be fun the next 2-3 years to hear his thoughts and see this team develope and improve. I think he will have geniune excitement and happiness to see the future successes of this team. Should be fun.
