thanks Big Time- love the site and the research that you, ABD and others do.

that Maui Invitational field could have some interesting games.

Maui Invitational: Gonzaga, Colorado, Cincinnati, Maryland, Wisconsin, Chaminade, Arizona, Vanderbilt

minus CU, Cincy, and Chaminade...all those teams have been in the Sweet 16 in the last 2 years, I think.

wow- A&M loaded up on cupcakes. New Mexico is their only decent test outside of the 76 classic and the Big12/Pac10 challenge.

that's been their MO for a while. Gillespie had some major cupcake OOC's.

A&M better win that 76 Classic because if they are sitting at 8-8 in conference that weak non-conference schedule is going to come back to bite them.

ABD,
Thanks for doing this. It is a good thread idea.

I always look forward to seeing who teams are playing this time of year and I have a tough time waiting to see OU's schedule, since it always seems to be one of the last ones.

Texas is playing North Carolina in Jerry World sometime around mid-December. Remember reading that was a done deal about a month ago. Should be an interesting matchup, as well as how many people show up to watch the game there.

December 19th, I'll be there.

Yes- that will be a great game. And it may be the only time I ever root for UT in a basketball game. Growing up a hardcore Maryland fan has given me a deeprooted hatred for UNC.

No problem!

I feel the same way you do.

Updated with Colorado.

another crap OOC home slate for the Buffs. who would want to buy season tix for that? Yale, Coppin headlining.

the CEC is not that bad. sightlines are good, not really a bad seat. the benches are kind of bush but still. this AD talks good but they've been talking about improving the OOC for years and it *never* happens.

I want to know why they arent playing Wyoming or Air Force.

If they had a home slate of of Wyoming, Air Force, San Francisco, Miami of Ohio, and Cal State Northridge (who damn near beat Memphis in the NCAA Tournament) it would be much better.

There is no excuse not to play Wyoming and Air Force every season. They are so close and respectable opponents.

Now that is a big league schedule. I imagine a lot of those games will get them on national TV. Tons of exposure for a team that is going to push and play up tempo ball

Thanks Trabor! :)

But seriously, heckuva schedule for the horns. I hope we can start getting to that level. It is worth a couple of loses because of all the exposure for the program.

UT's schedule shows while they're going to be in my opinion a national champion over the next 4 or 5 years.
