ESPN Experts break down the keys for tonight's winner

Allen Fieldhouse is going to be bedlam and Bill Self has lost there all of nine times in his career.

That is crazy good. I miss when LNC was that way (in terms of difficulty for the opponent to win, not atmosphere) under Kelvin. I think OU had the longest OOC home winning streak at one point, or something like that.

We had won 37 straight home games under Kelvin, spoiled by Texas on the senior day for Hollis, Quannas, Ebi, and YoYo.

I was at that game. Hollis and them played their hearts out that night, just came up short to a pretty good UT team.

I kinda hope Buddy has an off night and we win now.

Back then the LNC was every bit the atmosphere of Phog. It is entirely up to the students. If they get loud and crazy the old boring people will make noise too.

Yes it was and we had some big wins in that 51 game winning streak. #1 Arizona, #1 Missouri, #1 KU, and a number of other big wins over KU, Mizzou and whoever we brought in from the non-con.

Great senior class.

I was thinking Saturday night of our all-time best classes, and this year's has to rank right up there.

I may be misunderstanding what you are saying but no way we win if Buddy has an off night. He has to be on for us to win tonight. IMO.

That's probably true, but that's what every one of those experts said. So I just want to prove them wrong.

How far we had fallen...

Wildcats beat Oklahoma 67-51 Wednesday night to end the
Sooners' NCAA-best 49-game homecourt winning streak against
nonconference foes.
