I don't think the point was that Kruger recruited them. I think the point is the three highest rated players that have played for Kruger at OU have been the best three players.
You can't not look at the final 4 this year and see why those great coaches and their teams are there and our great coach and our team is not there. Anyone thinks not bringing in top 100 players don't make a difference needs to stop and smell the roses bc the proof is right in front of you. Each team has a 5 star recruit on their roster. I believe of the remaining elite 8 teams all but 1 has a 5 star recruit on their roster. And Notre dame has a bunch of 4 star recruits though. You can go to the previous years and see the same trend.
I am on board with Krueger, bc he has the coaching skills to get us to a final 4 but he is not bringing in the talent to get us there.

He had troublesome injuries for much of the season. He showed much more what could be to us later in the season. He averaged 6.5 per over the final 11 games of the season, and if he came back fully healthy, there's no telling what he might have done next season.
Had Stacy King left after his sophomore season, many would have said, "Meh. Seven points a game; we can replace that."
I'm not saying Frank is at Stacy's level, but you never know how he might have developed, especially if (heaven forbid) Buddy left and he got more minutes.
Clark wasn't a kruger recruit was he?
It just shows that backup wing players are replaceable.
I know of a division 1 wing who this year as a freshman who shot 41% from the 3. Played 14 minutes a game. He is athletic or more than Frank and at least as tall. He is transferring and has several schools interested in him. He is a local product. OU would be his first choice maybe even as a walkon. He wants to play though so he may not choose us and/or we may not even have a spot for him. His league obviously wasn't the Big 12 but he had double figures against one of our top teams.

Why the secretive nature? Why not just say the name of this player and where he went to school.
Booker didn't get along with one staff member.
He's almost certainly referring to Collin Jennings at UMKC. From Harrah, .408 from 3 as a freshman, 11 points vs. ISU:

Not ou level talent.

Did you guys watch Frank or anybody else who wasn't a starter play on the wing for us? None of them were OU level talent. It is why Frank is gone.

Also read my post it doesn't say this player would replace Frank. It states clearly it would probably be as a walk-on and even then OU may not have room. However he is as good or better than Frank. And of course transfers can't play next year.
His name is out in the coaching world with D1 offers and just about every D2 school.
